A fixed account is a type of account that pays interest at the end of the term. The Bank will calculate the interest on each deposit amount at the specified rate. The account owner will receive a high interest rate throughout the deposit period, with a passbook provided, and can select from a variety of deposit periods to achieve the desired return.
Benefits and Highlights
- A fixed interest rate is applied throughout the deposit period.
- A variety of deposit periods, ranging from 6 to 36 months, is provided for selection.
- Financial flexibility is increased by using a fixed account as collateral for a loan.
- For individual clients, when linking a fixed account on alpha by Thai Credit, they can view deposit information, make additional deposits, or change the deposit period when it reaches maturity.
Terms of Service
- For individuals and Thai Juristic Person;
- The minimum amount required to open an account is 1,000 Baht.
- The interest will be paid when the deposit term matures.
In the case of a withdrawal before the deposit period matures, the Bank will pay interest as follows:
- If the deposit term is less than 3 months, no interest will be paid.
- If the deposit term is more than 3 months, interest will be paid based on the actual deposit period at the savings deposit interest rate on the date of each deposit (after deducting withholding tax).
***Effective 10 August 2022, the Bank will cease offering new account openings and accepting additional deposits for 3-month and 5-month fixed account, for all other deposit types.***

Individual
- A copy of national ID card
Thai Juristic Person
- Certificate of Incorporation (issued within the past 3 months);
- A copy of Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association;
- A copy of List of Shareholders;
- A minutes of Board of Directors’ meeting;
- A copy of Taxpayer Identification Card;
- Copies of the national ID card and house registration of the authorized signatory, as well as those of shareholders holding 25% or more, with the seal of the legal entity registered at the Ministry of Commerce.;
- A copy of VAT registration certificate
- A copy of Form BorOrJor. 3 (Registration of Establishment) or BorOrJor. 4 (Amendment Registration) (if any)

- Closing an account: Accounts can only be closed in person at the branch where the account was opened.
- The Bank reserves the right to amend the conditions in accordance with its announcements.
- Deposit interest rates, fees, and other services are subject to the Bank's announcements.
- The deposit is protected by the Deposit Protection Agency, up to the amount specified by law.

FAQ
Interest paid is subjected to deduct withholding tax in accordance with the applicable law and regulations of the Revenue Department.
You can request withholding tax information from deposit interest or a withholding tax certificate in person at the branch where the account was opened (authorization is not allowed).
- Cash withdrawals of 500,000 baht or more (all branches)
- The branch where the account was opened has no withdrawal limit.
- If other branches, the daily limits per account are: cash withdrawals not exceed 1,000,000 Baht and transfers not exceed 2,000,000 Baht.
Withdrawal by proxy can only be proceeded at the branch where the account was opened.
Change of personal information should be proceeded in person, authorization is not allowed.
- Change of Name -Surname; You can request to change your information in person at the branch where the account was opened.

Deposit account passbook
- For other cases, such as phone number, address, or email address, you can request to change your information in person at any branch.

- There are no account maintenance fees.
- If the account remains inactive for 3 consecutive years (based on a 365-day year), the Bank will send a notification letter to the depositor regarding the inactive account, requesting acknowledgment and instructing them to contact the Bank.
The account holder must contact the branch where the account was opened in person. (Authorization is not allowed.)
