"Tang-To Know-how" Empowers Community Development Officers in Sukhothai Towards Becoming Professional Trainers

The "Tang-To Know-how" team, initiated by Thai Credit Bank Public Company Limited, conducted a Train the Trainer: Professional Trainer Development program for more than 60 participants, including provincial and district-level community development officers as well as community development volunteers. The training was held under the supervision of the Sukhothai Provincial Community Development Office, Department of Community Development, Ministry of Interior, in support of the “5P CDD Sukho: Happy Organization” initiative.

This course aimed to enhance the capacity of local “frontline personnel” to become knowledgeable and effective financial trainers who can deliver financial literacy content in a simple, engaging, and impactful way—fostering meaningful change within their communities.
Participants gained both theoretical and practical knowledge through key topics such as: Techniques for becoming a professional trainer, Personal and household financial planning and Debt management and effective saving strategies.

They also practiced intensive presentation skills to ensure they can confidently apply and disseminate the knowledge in their respective areas.
We firmly believe that building a strong network of financial trainers at the local level is a crucial step in promoting widespread and sustainable financial literacy. This, in turn, will contribute to improving the quality of life of community members and strengthening the grassroots economy in the long run.
The training session took place on June 12–13, 2025, at the Multi-purpose Pavilion, Sukhothai Provincial Hall.
