"Tang To Know-how" Project Enhances Professional Financial Management Skills for Thai Union Wire Company Employees. "Good financial planning is the essential foundation of a stable life"

On Monday, March 17, 2025, an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and interest permeated the training room at Thai Union Wire Company, a team of expert instructors from the "Tang To Know-how" project shared their knowledge and experience in financial management with the company's employees.

This training was conducted under the "7 Skills for Financial Stability" curriculum, divided into two cohorts to accommodate different target groups: 30 daily-wage employees and 30 monthly-salaried employees, totaling 60 participants.

The curriculum was meticulously designed to cover key aspects of personal financial management, ranging from basic financial planning to sophisticated debt management techniques, efficient saving strategies, and investment approaches tailored to individual lifestyles and goals.

A highlight of this training was the presentation of content customized to the specific contexts and needs of employees at different levels. For daily-wage employees, the training emphasized income-expense management, systematic savings planning, and disciplined debt management. Meanwhile, the training for monthly-salaried employees included additional topics such as tax planning, investing in various asset classes, and retirement planning.

The "Tang To Know-how" project not only teaches theory but emphasizes practical activities that employees can genuinely apply in their daily lives. The goal is to create positive changes in participants' financial behaviors, which will lead to long-term financial stability. This represents another significant step in promoting financial literacy among business sector personnel, which will help elevate the financial health of the wider population and contribute to the sustainable economic development of the country in the future.
