Thai Credit Bank Participates in the 51st Annual Savings Festival of Production Savings Groups, Showcasing Grassroots Economic Development Success with Department of Community Development, Ministry of Interior

Thai Credit Bank, led by Ms. Krisana Aramkulchai, Director of Thai Credit Bank Public Company Limited, along with Ms. Nathanaporn Tangyosthakijjakul, Senior Director of Portfolio Strategy and Product Planning Department, Ms. Khemruthai Asavanon, Senior Director of Micro Economic Development Department, and team, represented the bank at the 51st Annual Savings Festival: Community Capital Driving Grassroots Economy, organized by the Department of Community Development, Ministry of Interior. The event was held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Seminar Room 3003, 3rd Floor, Department of Community Development.

Mr. Nopparat Thamrongsap, Director of the Planning Division, presided over the 51st Annual Savings Festival: Community Capital Driving Grassroots Economy (Departmental Level). Ms. Wanichada Soimanee, Special Professional Community Development Academic, Acting Director of the Office of Capital Development and Financial Organizations, delivered the report. They were joined by Mr. Sathaporn Mungphienman, Chairman of the National Production Savings Group Committee, and networks of Production Savings Group committees from six provinces: Saraburi, Singburi, Kanchanaburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Sa Kaeo, and Phichit, who presented the successful outcomes of Production Savings Groups and the promotion of public savings.

The bank has been trusted by the Department of Community Development, Ministry of Interior, to participate as a network partner in the "Tang-To Know-how" project, promoting financial discipline, savings, and debt management since 2020 until present. The training sessions have continuously increased throughout the collaborative project, with a total of 150 sessions and over 8,351 participants. Of these, 1,639 participants were specifically from Production Savings Groups. The bank has provided financial literacy training to diverse target groups, from community development officers, Production Savings Groups, Khok Nong Na model members, Women's Role Development Fund groups, Community Fund Management Centers, and the Department of Community Development Savings Cooperative. The bank will continue to collaborate with the Department of Community Development to share financial knowledge with people across all regions.
